GCSE Maths – Aiming for Grades 4–6

Secure the foundations. Find the easy wins. Build confidence.

Mondays | 19:30–20:30

Designed primarily for Higher-tier students currently working around Grades 4–5, this programme strengthens essential skills, revisits crossover topics and helps students work towards Grade 6 with greater confidence.

Who is this programme for:

This programme may be particularly helpful for students who:

✓ Have gaps in earlier learning
✓ Have missed a significant number of lessons
✓ Have recently moved from Foundation to Higher
✓ Understand maths in class but struggle to apply it independently
✓ Need topics broken down into smaller, manageable steps
✓ Lack confidence in tests and exams

What will we cover:

We will broadly follow the Pearson Edexcel Higher Mathematics textbook, revisiting key crossover topics and introducing accessible Higher-tier material.

Along the way, we will identify valuable “easy wins”: skills and topics that can help students strengthen their Grade 5 knowledge and work towards Grade 6.

Exam technique is built into every stage, including how to interpret questions, choose a method and make progress when stuck.

Suitable for students studying **Edexcel GCSE, Pearson Edexcel International GCSE and AQA GCSE Mathematics**.
