We offer preparation for mathematic GCSE in Sutton. We use a unique pedagogic method based one each student’s specific needs. There are many different methods to explain mathematic concepts, what works best for one student might not for the others. Unlike school, we take the time to understand which areas need the most improvement, and which ones are already well understood.
The GCSE is prepared on along array of time. We go back from time to time to previously studied subjects to ensure the concepts are well in the student’s long term memory. When the class is finished, he has access to the recording and relevant files as his convenience.
When the real exam is coming close, we go in special preparation mood with the student. Every week we work with him on one past paper. This helps him to understand the philosophy of the exam and gives him confidence. During this critical time, we check if there are any last difficulties that the students still have, and ensure to improve them. Most of our old students had scored so high that their school teachers and their parents were surprised.
